The Accountant II produces accurate, high-quality deliverables requiring occasional review according to pre-established guidelines and develops and utilizes tools to verify accuracy of product prior to submission.
This position also performs a variety of complicated tasks and is expected to generally work independently as required.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in healthcare or related area required. Candidate should also have a strong understanding Microsoft Office applications.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Demonstrates the ability to perform the department-specific competencies as listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires desk and computer work a majority of the day with frequent standing and walking and reaching.
