Chief Program Officer

Location: Egg Harbor Twp, NJ  |  Position Status: Full Time  |  Position Shift: Days
The Chief Program Officer (CPO) will serve as the program director for the Oracle Health Program and will be the overall lead for the successful execution of the Oracle Health Program components. This role is pivotal in driving the successful implementation and optimization of Oracle Health's latest clinical and revenue cycle electronic health record (EHR) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) application suite as part of AtlantiCare's VISION 2030 initiative.

This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Oracle Health Program, ensuring alignment with AtlantiCare's strategic goals and VISION 2030.
  • Oversee Oracle Health governance and communication, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and communication.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including IT, clinical operations and finance, to ensure seamless integration and optimization of Oracle Health systems.
  • Manage the project timeline, ensuring the 27-month project duration is adhered to, with specific timing and work plans confirmed in the initial phase.
  • Coordinate with the consulting partner to provide implementation leadership and strategic advisory support.
  • Matrix-lead the Implementation Leadership Team, which includes roles such as clinical project manager, revenue cycle architect, fusion program lead, Oracle Cloud project manager, learning & adoption lead and testing lead.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • EDUCATION: Master's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • EXPERIENCE: Minimum 10-15 years of project management, business and professional development experience required. Candidate must demonstrate ability to work within a complex, multisite environment. Strong analytic and problem-solving skills required. Proven experience in program management, particularly in healthcare IT implementations. Deep knowledge of Oracle Health systems and experience with EHR and ERP implementations. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
  • Successfully implement and optimize Oracle Health's EHR and ERP application suite within the 27-month project timeline.
  • Achieve seamless integration of Oracle Health systems across various departments, resulting in improved clinical and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure effective governance and communication, leading to high stakeholder engagement and satisfaction.
  • Deliver the project within the allocated budget, demonstrating strong financial management skills.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing Implementation Leadership Team, ensuring all team members meet their individual and collective goals.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project progress, risks and mitigation strategies.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires balancing, fingering, reaching, reading, seeing, driving and speaking a majority of the time. This position works with such equipment as a computer terminal, fax machine, copier and telephone. Occasional carrying up to 20 lbs. also required.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
This position report to the Chief Information Officer and may supervise incumbents as assigned.
