Planning & Market Insights Consultant

Location: Egg Harbor Twp, NJ  |  Position Status: Full Time  |  Position Shift: Days
The Planning and Market Insights Consultant will work under the guidance of the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Planning and be responsible for supporting the strategic planning process of the organization; the planning needs of the clinical service lines; and all analyses related to planning, market position and market dynamics. Additionally, the coordinator will leverage the data to identify market growth opportunities in support of the clinical service lines' marketing plans. Important skills include critical thinking, attention to detail, executive presentations, scenario planning, group facilitation and the use of artistic visualization techniques and tools to make information memorable.
 
The consultant must demonstrate competency in understanding the regulatory environment and future trends in healthcare. The consultant will ensure expertise in the analytical tools and data collection that support market research and the strategic and business planning needs of the organization with the ability to make connections among internal and publicly available data to demonstrate organizational progress. This position will also provide support in completing ongoing environmental assessments, scenario planning and market research and focus group facilitation, as well as supporting the analytics specific to SDoH and the completion of the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA).
 
The consultant will work with the Senior Vice President, CFO, AVP of Marketing and Executive Director of Community Health to ensure strategic plans are aligned with the financial planning process, marketing plans and community health plans. The consultant will also assist with maintaining performance scorecards that support organization business plans.
 
This position supports organizational goals by providing excellent customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • EDUCATION: Master's degree in business administration, public health, health administration or related field of study.
  • EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of related healthcare experience required in areas including, but not limited to, strategy, business development, statistics and finance. Strong project management, advanced analytics, market research and program development skills are required. Experience with Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/Access, Tableau or other mapping-specific tools is helpful.
 
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires desk/computer work a majority of the time. This position requires some standing and walking and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds required.
