Radiology Tech Assistant

Location: Atlantic City, NJ  |  Position Status: Per Diem/Pool  |  Position Shift: Varies
The radiology tech assistant assists the technologists within their assigned area with tasks that expedite the completion of the daily workload according to established policies, procedures and time schedules. The position assists other staff members upon request.

This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required. College-level anatomy and physiology course, as well as a medical terminology course, within one year of hire.
  • LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: HS CPR required within 6 months from date of hire or transfer.
  • EXPERIENCE: Must be adept at computer operations and able to quickly learn new programs. Experience in medical practices, specifically radiology, preferred.
